You will LOVE these cookies. I mean it. They are good. I would not lie. I have many requests for these cookies and I feel it is only appropriate to use this recipe as the first on this blog...
BEST EVER CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES-REALLY!
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Whisk the following into a large bowl.
-3/4 cup of sugar
-3/4 cup of brown sugar
-1 cup (two sticks) of butter at room temperature
1 large egg
Now add:
2 1/4 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
walnuts (optional)--I never add these
1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips.
I mix the dry ingredients in with a wooden spoon. I feel this is the secret to the recipe-mixing by hand.
Add the bag of chocolate chips.
Bake for about 8 minutes.
Now pour a large glass of milk and enjoy. Seriously the best cc cookie I've ever made. It is highly requested here at my house...
